Tidalik's friends

Children looked at the Australian dream story of Tiddalik the greedy frog. They then used boxes and other junk modelling materials to create the different animals that appeared in the story.  They also had to create passports for the animals describing what they looked like and how they moved.

Kandinsky

The children spent the first three weeks of term looking at the artist Kandinsky. They explored his work and described what they could see in his pictures.

They also made up there own stories about what could happen if they jumped inside one of his paintings.  They had some marvellous ideas.
They then had a go and creating their own pictures in the Kandinsky style.  They used a range of different mediums and materials to create a wide range of pictures.
